Corridor Energy Cooperative works year-round to provide members with safe and reliable power.
Check for power outages or report an outage.
In our area, severe weather can happen quickly. In the event of a power outage, contact Corridor Energy Cooperative when:
- Your entire property is without power / neighbors also without power
- You can’t restore power by replacing a fuse or switching the circuit breaker (see link below)
- You see a downed power line or damaged utility equipment
Every call helps determine the location and extent of an outage and helps prioritize restoration efforts.
Service Facilities – Who Owns What
If a storm damages any equipment owned by the co-op, we are responsible for repairs. If a storm damages any member-owned equipment, the member is responsible for repairs. Members should hire a licensed electrician when making any repairs to member-owned equipment.
- Meter loop (on meter pole): owned by the member
- Meter pole: maintained by Corridor Energy Cooperative
- Wires from meter pole to house or farm facilities: owned by the member
- Meter: owned by Corridor Energy Cooperative
- Fuse/breakers (below the meter): responsibility of the member
