Energy Efficiency for New and Existing Facilities
Corridor Energy Cooperative offers rebates and custom incentives for qualifying energy efficiency upgrades, retrofits, and new construction projects to help offset upfront costs and support efficient electric design and demand management.
Building Operator Certification
Building Operator Certificate is a nationally recognized, competency-based training and certification program for building operators and facility managers. Topics covered include facility electrical and lighting systems, HVAC, indoor air quality, sustainability, and energy conservation. Classroom instruction is combined with hands-on projects using the students’ own facilities, so that experience is relevant and practical.
Tuition Incentive
- $700 per student (Limited to 2 students per year)
- Reimbursement will be issued after successful completion of BOC Level 1 Training (Certificate required from MEEA)
Eligibility
- Available to Corridor Energy Cooperative members with facilities ≥ 50,000 sq. ft. and consumes ≥ 1,000,000 kWh annually
Application
In order for and Applicant to be eligible for the BOC Incentive Program, the Applicant must complete this pre-application form and have been approved by Corridor Energy Cooperative for the Program prior to BOC course commencement.
Commercial Heat Pumps/VRF Systems
Rebate
- Heat Pump equipment must be AHRI certified and provide primary heating for the facility.
- Rebate varies according to system.
- If Corridor Energy Cooperative is not notified prior to installation of heat pumps where a rebate is expected to be over $10,000, there will be a 25% reduction in rebate amount.
Application
When filling out an online rebate form, make sure you have a copy of the invoice, model and serial numbers needed to complete the form. Online rebate forms are not able to be saved and retrieved at a later time to complete.

Custom Projects – New Facilities & Retrofits
Requirments
- Available to new and existing members on rates 4LCOM, 5LCOM, 14TOD, or 16TOD
- Pre-approval is required BEFORE starting the project, allow 4-6 for internal project review
- Project approval is based soley at the discretion of Corridor Energy Cooperative
Incentive
- Earn up to $200 per kW of coincident demand reduction:
- Summer Peak Months (June-September): $100 per kW saved
- Winter Peak Months (December – February): $100 per kW saved
- Up to $50,000 per service location per calendar year

Once completed, please email the saved form to rebates@corridorenergy.coop
or send it directly to your assigned Commercial Account Advisor.
Level II EV Charger
Rebate for Electric Vehicle Level II Chargers
- $1000 per charger (up to four)
- Must be a Level II charger requiring a 240/208 volt input supply
- Primary location of the charging unit must be served by Corridor Energy Cooperative
Rebate for Level II Forklift Chargers
- $1000 per charger (up to four)
- Must be a Levell II charger requiring a 240/208 volt input supply
- Primary location of the charging unit must be served by Corridor Energy Cooperative

Variable Frequency Drives
Rebates
- $35 / per horse power of fan or pump being controlled.
- Minimum annual operating hours is 1000.
- VFD must not soley be used as a soft start or power factor correction.
- Rebates not available for new construction or failed drives.
- If Corridor Energy Cooperative is not notified prior to installation of VFD where a rebate is expected to be over $5,000, there will be a 25% reduction in rebate amount.
